Maann started with a simple word, 慢 (màn), in Mandarin Chinese, meaning "slow"— a philosophy that runs through everything we do. Maann is a New York-based curatorial platform spotlighting fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle creations by emerging Asian designers and artists. We hope to offer an ever-evolving selection that honors natural materials, cultural memory, and sincere craftsmanship.

We’re not interested in the Asia that exists in Western imagination as either exotic fantasy or factory floor for mass production; Maann presents it as a rich, multi-textured world of creativity, resistance, and renewal.
